How To Lift Things When You're Pregnant
When you're pregnant, especially once you've gotten farther along in your pregnancy, balance will be slightly off because you are carrying more weight around your belly. This means your weight is distributed a bit differently than usual.
So, how do you lift something that you've dropped when you're pregnant?
- Grab onto something like a table, a chair, or even the wall.
- Squat down and then pick up the item with your other hand before straightening back up. Never lean forward because with the extra weight around your middle this is going to really throw off your balance.
