Where To Buy Plus Size Maternity Clothes & How To Look Attractive In Them

plus-size-maternity-clothes-for-mama-by-Emery-Co-Photo.jpg As you know, women come in all shapes and sizes.

Unfortunately, not all stores that sell maternity clothes seem to be aware of this.

Finding shops that sell plus size maternity clothes can be difficult, but it’s not impossible.

For a list of the best shops both online and offline that sell plus size maternity clothing check out Best Place To Buy Plus Size Maternity Clothes.

Here are a couple of shops from this list that are not too expensive but that also have some very pretty plus size maternity clothes:

I also found a few other shops that look promising:

  • Destination Maternity Plus Size Maternity Clothes – What stands here is the variety of tops. These include sweaters, tank tops, and empire waist tops. Also, they have a good selection of both bright and neutral colors.
  • Gap Maternity – They have some great maternity jeans that look very attractive. Also, I like the fact that you can choose from low, medium, and high rise jeans.
  • Cry Baby Maternity – They have the cutest maternity clothes (up to size 3X Large) that you have ever seen! Their prices are great too.

So, now you know where to find the most attractive and best-priced plus size maternity clothing, but maybe you want some style advice too.

A couple of great tips for wearing plus sized maternity clothing are:

  • Choose empire waist tops. The waist will be right beneath your breasts while the bottom part billows out around you giving you lots of room for the growing baby.
  • Select clothes that have busy patterns. These can be floral patterns which are popular right now, or even paisley, polka dot, and striped patterns.

Some tips for choosing plus size maternity clothing include:

  • For outer clothing, choose fabrics such as lycra, and spandex — because they stretch.
  • For underwear, choose loose rather than tight-fitting.
  • Talk to your friends about their maternity clothes. You may be able to borrow some of their plus size maternity clothing, thus saving you money.

Some of my favorite things to write about are topics that have to do with living green, saving money, pregnancy, weddings, and dogs. When I'm not writing, I love to spend time with my husband, read, create 3D artwork and Native American beadwork.

It probably depends on the pattern though… some patterns can be flattering while others can be completely outrageous. You have to try it on and make sure it will work the best for you because online photos can be misleading – at the angle the model stands in, it may work, but otherwise not.
