You’ll find lots of great freebies for moms and dads going through the various stages of pregnancy in this list:
Free Baby Diapers — Get free baby diapers from popular diaper brands — including Huggies, Pampers, Luvs, Seventh Generation, and more. You’re going to be needing a lot of these, so you may as well submit your request to ALL of the diaper companies listed!
3 Free Pacifiers — Use promo code: 1FRUGALBABY. A $30 credit for 3 free pacifiers is immediately applied to your cart. You get to customize the name, the colors and the design on each pacifier!
Free Baby Crib — Cribs For Kids helps families in need around the nation obtain a separate safe sleeping space for their baby. Find a local baby crib provider in your area simply by entering your zip code.
Free Amazon Children’s Kindle Book — Select the age range of your child and which free Kindle book you would like. Here’s a good place to stay on top of the list of free books as they become available.
Freebies From Mommy On Purpose — I’ve followed Carly for years (her Free Mommy Deals as well as her Pinterest tips). Use the code mommyonpurpose50 to get these amazing things for FREE: a canopy for your baby’s car seat, pregnancy pillow, nursing cover, baby carrier (sling), breast pads, baby towel, baby board books, pacifiers, baby hats, baby leggings, and more!
Free Prenatal Vitamins — The free pre-natal vitamin program at Meijer launched in 2008, allowing you to choose from several well-known brands of prenatal vitamins… for free!
Free Baby Belly Badges — You get free stickers to mark your baby’s milestones during their first year. Simply join Enfamil’s FREE Family Beginnings program or download their mobile app. (Mobile app users get access to digital files that you can print out.)
Free Baby Announcements — Free baby announcements that you can personalize and send via email. Great for new parents, grandparents, even friends of the family to send to notify others of the new arrival!
Free Baby Formula — See how to request free formula (and more!) from Gerber, Enfamil, Nature’s One and Similac.
Free Pregnancy Belly Badges — Use them to track your pregnancy belly weekly or monthly (in photos). After choosing which set you want, the digital file will be sent to you to print out. Here’s another style to choose from. Don’t want to print them? Here are some pregnancy belly badges on Amazon.
Free Breast Pump — Start here to find the breast pumps, replacement supplies, milk storage bags, and lactation support services that are covered by your insurance.
Just so everyone knows, ALL U.S. insurance companies are required by federal law to offer a free breast pump! And it’s REALLY easy to get! Just ask your OB for a prescription (they’ll give you a literal paper prescription for a breast pump haha), and then there are a bunch of websites you can use from there. I used this one and had no problems, but there are others too. I just chose a pump, uploaded a photo of the prescription, and a week later it arrived in the mail!

Free Books Every Month — Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library provides free books for kids from birth to age 5. Your child receives one free book every single month until they turn 5!
Free Pregnancy Journaling Cards — free printable colorful cards for moms to jot down random thoughts and discoveries.
Free Printable Baby Cards — Free cards that you can print and send to friends and family to invite them to your baby shower or announce your baby’s arrival.
Free Apps For Your Phone — Check out these free baby apps for Android phones and these free baby apps for iPhones.
Free Welcome Boxes — I would encourage you to sign up for the online baby registry at all 3 of these places: Amazon, Target, AND Walmart (although Walmart’s is usually “soldout,” so you have to keep checking that page). After someone actually purchases something from your registry list (yes, it can even be you!), each of these stores sends you a free Welcome Box filled with lots of valuable goodies. These are things that you will actually use as a new mom! (I’ve also heard that the free BabyList box is super nice — but it has some very specific requirements, so you may want to read this first.)
Free Baby Growth Charts — Free templates to track your baby’s growth in 12 different ways (includes Word document, Excel spreadsheet and PDF). Here are even more!
Free Easy Reader Books — The U.S. Department of Health provides free books for kids, ages 1 through 3. Some are available for free download. Others you can “order” for FREE.
Free White House Greeting Letter — The President and First Lady will pen a congratulatory note to you, the parents, or the baby. Just mention your baby’s name, address, and birth date.
Free Parents Magazine — Free 2-year subscription to a great magazine for new parents, just for asking!
Free Baby Food — WIC (Women, Infant and Children) programs provide healthy, supplemental food to low-income people who are pregnant and/or caring for children ages 5 and under. First, find out if you’re eligible for WIC. Then, apply by contacting your local WIC office.
Free Infant Car Seat — A list of all the places that provide free car seats for infants across the USA. Simply click on your state to quickly see the list of local providers near you.
For the parents in need or have low income this post is for you… If you’re enrolled in WIC they can give you a free infant car seat at no charge to you. They will also show you how to buckle baby and install it correctly in your car. I’m letting all ladies that have financial issues know so you can save some money and have one less thing to buy. With each one of my kids I got a car seat — including this one on the way. With my second they even gave me a new Pack ‘n Play because they had some available. All have been beneficial and very helpful to us.

More Free Stuff For Moms & Dads
In addition to the links I’ve included above, here are some other resources to help you find free baby stuff…
- Don’t overlook all of the free printables for new moms that you can find online these days! I would encourage you to search Pinterest and Google for “free baby printable” “new mom printable” “free pregnancy printable” and similar phrases.
- I also recommend getting connected to your local Buy Nothing group (search Facebook groups) or your local Freecycle group — because women on there are giving away free baby items all the time! Here’s a sampler of the types of things new moms have received on Facebook alone.
- You can also browse through Facebook Marketplace’s Free Stuff, as well as Craigslist Free Stuff (just enter your zip code).
- You can also become a “tester” for various baby products and receive free samples and full-size products that way. How it works is… different marketing agencies work with different brands to help them get the word out about their new products. What they usually want is honest feedback from new parents who’ve used those products — or, for their product to become popular via word-of-mouth (moms telling other moms). You get to pick and choose which ones you’d like to try. (TIP: The products for review appear almost halfway down on the list — after the Similac entry.)
- Follow the BabyBumps group on Reddit to get up-to-date and honest feedback from moms about all things free for new moms!
- The Healthline website maintains a list of free programs and free products for new parents. Their list remains up-to-date with a wide variety of free baby stuff that’s currently available — including formula, diapers, cribs, car seats, child care, preschool, therapy, crisis help, and more.
