pregnant-zucchini-by-futurestreet.jpg Did you know that what you eat when you’re trying to get pregnant is just as important as what you eat when you’re pregnant?

That’s right, science has shown there are certain foods that can actually help to boost your fertility.

So, if you’re trying to get pregnant, it would be in your best interest to add a few of these foods to your diet.

The following 4 foods are discussed in the video below. Eating a little bit of each of them will help you increase your chances of getting pregnant:

  • Almonds. Almonds offer the best protection from free radical damage — a type of damage that affects cells, including sperm and eggs.
  • Wheat Germ. Wheat germ has Vitamins B6, E, and Selenium — all of which help to prevent miscarriage once you get pregnant.
  • Pizza. This one’s for the guys. The tomatoes and onions found on pizza assist sperm in growing stronger.
  • Canola Oil. Canola oil is loaded with omega 3 fatty acids which help to protect your eggs and keep them healthy.

Worried about taking care of your skin once you get pregnant? Lots of women are. Fortunately, there are lots of foods that are good for you and your skin!

My favorite things to write about are topics that have to do with pregnancy, weddings, saving money, living green, and life with dogs. When I’m not writing, I love to spend time with my husband, read, create 3D artwork and Native American beadwork.

About Us

AvatarI’m a new mom. I work from home and I write — mostly about my outdoor adventures, DIY projects, newly discovered products, and helpful tips as a first-time mom. I also like to share details about the alternative choices I’m exploring as I enjoy this journey called motherhood. My family includes a toddler, 2 stepchildren, 1 dog, 1 cat, and a wonderful husband. My pre-pregnancy life was full of freedom and adventure, so I have a fresh new perspective when it comes to walking away from a career to become a full time stay-at-home Mama.
