What’s the best way to let everyone know the exciting results?
Here are some creative ways to say
It’s A Boy!
or
It’s A Girl!
We went low-tech.
I had my 6-year-old son call his dad, to whom he proudly announced:
"Our team is winning!"
The quickest way to tell everyone the sex of your baby is probably by email.
Design a simple card that reveals the sex of your future child.
E-cards That Say "It’s A Boy!"
- Blue Mountain "Going To Have A Boy" (with ultrasound image)
- Cyberkisses It’s A Boy! email postcard
- American Greetings It’s A Boy! e-card
E-cards That Say "It’s A Girl!"
- American Greetings It’s A Girl!
- Blue Mountain It’s A Girl (with ultrasound image)
Do scan your ultrasound photos for preservation. That way, you can crop and insert them in e-cards and e-mails — just as you would a traditional photo!
—>You can always add a BOY or GIRL pregnancy ticker to your email signature or Facebook page. Here’s a list of the best free pregnancy tickers online.
Did you record your baby’s ultrasound? Upload the footage to YouTube, then send the link to all your friends and family. I love the way the parents in this video added music and subtitles!
It’s A Boy! and It’s A Girl! T-shirts![]()
There are some tacky t-shirts on the web, but I liked these simple $18 tees from Etsy. You can even get one with the ultrasound image or your baby’s due date!
Here’s another page of stylish tees that announce the sex. of your new baby.
Or make your own pregnancy t-shirt. Just let the older siblings loose with some pink or blue fabric paint!
Say It Big With Balloons
One mom I know flooded the living room with blue helium balloons to surprise her husband!
Most grocery stores sell plain helium balloons for $1 apiece. Walmart will fill your balloons free if you purchase the package in the store. Dollar Tree is the best value for mylar baby balloons ($1).
How did you announce the sex of your new baby? I’d love to hear your creative ideas!
